1. Setting up your website?

Read this paragraph carefully. You get a webhosting service, such as Hostgator. You then go into your control panel (called CPANEL) on that hosting service and click on Fantastico. You setup a Wordpress site. Click, Click, Click and you are done.

I've even got a video in the members area to take you through the process so you can't make a mistake.

Now you set up your FTP (file transfer program) so you can upload your files to your new website.

3. How Do I Get Paid?

You get paid directly by the company, product or service that you are promoting. You will receive money through Paypal, checks (or cheques), and even have your commissions deposited directly into your bank account. Each company or affiliate network has their own system of payments to affiliates. What you need to know if that you will get paid as long as you stick with known well established companies.

Each month I will suggest companies or networks to affiliate with for each website (niche) you build. You can follow my suggestion or you can find your own.

4. How much time is required to make money online?

The $64,000 question.

If you want to make $64,000 a month, then you'll need to dedicate your every waking moment for several months at least and you'll have to spend more on websites, etc. But it is possible.

However for the average affiliate marketer, you only need to spend a few hours a week and you can make a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month. At first you will spend more time, but as you grow comfortable you will spend less and each hour will be more productive.

This is a 24/7 income opportunity. The web never sleeps, and somewhere in the world there are always people online, browsing, looking for things and buying. They could very easily be buying from links you provide. Even in this tough economy, there are things that need to be bought and people that have money to buy. Especially if they can get a deal.

5. How much will it cost to get started?

I am assuming you already have a computer. You don't need anything fancy. Laptop or desktop, super powerful or average. It doesn't matter. You also need a connection to the Internet and high speed broadband is better, but telephone modem is OK too.

You need a domain (i.e.: www.yourdomain.com) and if you don't have one, you can get a cheapie at GoDaddy or Hostgator.

Your domain will cost you from $5 to $20 a year, depending on where you get it. And in this case, less expensive does not mean lower quality.

You need a webhost. You may already have a host through your Internet connection. Just make sure you have a host that provides CPANEL capability. If not, run as fast as you can in the opposite direction. Too many hassles, taking up too much of your time that can better be used making money! Stick with those that make it easy and have a good history. Again, I use Hostgator, and find them excellent.

All you need is a site for about 8 bucks a month. When you get really busy and that's not enough, you can upgrade (yes, make sure you can upgrade without losing your current sites).

Now, you need websites, content, links, and to join affiliate programs.

You can build them (like I did for years), and spend countless hours every day searching for affiliates, website programming code, content management systems, payment systems and the myriad of other stuff that usually stops new affiliate webmasters dead in their tracks.
